Owner Kraig Torres told Business Debut the concept will be operated by the Hop City team and is targeting a mid-to-late May opening, following the debut of the broader Upper West Market.
Lily Sushi Bar
JOHNS CREEK, GA — Lily Sushi Bar is set to open October 29 at 3135 Medley Blvd, Johns Creek, GA 30097, bringing its established sushi concept to the ground floor of the new Medley development. Owner Lily Susana confirmed the opening date in an interview with Business Debut. The Johns Creek restaurant will mark the brand’s third location and will offer approximately 50 seats, with additional covered patio seating planned.

DULUTH, GA — Barcito Sushi is preparing to open a new, larger restaurant at 3940 Buford Hwy NE Suite B101, Duluth, GA 30096. Co-owner Wilson Giovanny Perez told Business Debut the team is targeting an opening in the next four to five weeks, pending permitting. Perez is opening the restaurant with partner Melina Castan.
Xochitl Mexican Restaurant
BUFORD, GA — Xochitl Mexican Restaurant is preparing to open in about two weeks at 33 Buford Village Way 311, Buford, GA 30518. Owner Susana Zarate told Business Debut the restaurant will introduce a family-run Mexican dining concept with a full bar and seating for roughly 180 guests. The restaurant is operated by Zarate alongside her siblings, children, and family friend Ramon Ortega, creating a multi-generational business rooted in family traditions.
