From the Westwood opening on Ralph D Abernathy next weekend to Java Saga bringing Taiwanese fried chicken to Alpharetta, here's what you should know about Fulton County's upcoming restaurants.

The Westwood

Debuting at 1529 Ralph David Abernathy Blvd, Atlanta, GA 30310 on November 23rd at 4 p.m., the Westwood is a neighborhood bar and grill perfect for a quick PBR and a shot or a cocktail and a meal.

What to expect: About 100 seats across a long bar, booths, tables, a game room with pool and darts, and a patio. Cocktails, beer, and wine with a come-as-you-are atmosphere.

Menu & vision: Elevated bar fare—burgers, wings, sandwiches, plus comfort plates like meatloaf and pot roast with mash. Crafted cocktails and approachable pours side by side.

Soft opening: Sun, Nov 23, 4–9 p.m. and Mon, Nov 24, 4–9 p.m. Free pool; limited drink menu.

The Bougie Grazer

Launching inside Concept House at 1331 Metropolitan Pkwy SW, Suite 104, Atlanta, GA 30310. Targeting a December 1, 2025 opening.

What to expect: A 500–600 sq. ft. cheese and wine bar built for meetups, book club gatherings, and casual hang outs. Adds wine, beer, and coffee to the brand’s made-to-order charcuterie focus.

Menu & vision: Rotating cheeses (including local cow’s and goat’s milk), champagne and wine, small bites like crudités and gourmet paninis. Morning coffee and pastries with signature flavors sweet potato and lavender raspberry.

Hours: TBD; early coffee through happy hour, with weekends to ~10 p.m.

Casi Cielo

Opening at 405 N Angier Ave NE #120, Atlanta, GA 30308 with a mid-December 2025 target.

What to expect: 6,000-sq.-ft. dining room inspired by luxury Mexican resorts, plus a 3,500-sq.-ft. patio with its own bar and menu. Patio leans casual with tacos, quesadillas, and drinks.

Menu & vision: Signatures from Sandy Springs—duck carnitas, bone marrow—plus new ceviches, steaks, and a chef’s tasting menu. Hospitality-forward, refined but relaxed.

Hours: Weekdays 7 a.m.–10 p.m.; weekends until 11 p.m. Light Mexican breakfasts and coffee in the morning; full lunch and dinner later.

Best BBQ

Coming to 215 Northwood Dr, Suite 9, Atlanta, GA 30342. Aiming for the next couple of months (construction permitting).

What to expect: Counter-service takeout with limited seating.

Menu & vision: Chinese barbecue with headline roast pig and roast chicken, plus select dim sum and some stir-fry. Aligned with existing locations on selection and pricing.

Famous Dave’s Bar-B-Que

Preparing to open at 10710 State Bridge Rd #150, Alpharetta, GA 30022, targeting February 2026. Address straddles Alpharetta and Johns Creek.

What to expect: Hybrid counter + dine-in for ~30 seats, robust takeout and catering. Order ahead, dine in, or take it home.

Menu & vision: Midwest-rooted ribs, brisket, chicken, and classic sides—baked beans with brisket, corn, wedge fries, creamy slaw. Famous Feast as the family centerpiece; sauces and seasonings sold on-site.

Hours: Daily 11 a.m.–10 p.m.; may extend to 11 p.m. during football season.

Expanding to 2905 Jordan Ct, Suite H, Alpharetta, GA 30004. Targeting Q1–Q2 2026 after construction delays.

What to expect: Fast-casual setup with about 40 seats. Taiwanese-style fried chicken sandwiches with coffee, tea, smoothies, limited bubble teas, and a small selection of Taiwanese beers.

Menu & vision: Taiwanese hot chicken (three heat levels) and specialty coffee, exclusively from Cloudland Coffee (Alpharetta). Began as a trailer in 2017 and expanded into a Buford Highway brick and mortar.

Hours: Tentative—Tue–Sat 11 a.m.–8:30 p.m.; Sun 11 a.m.–4 p.m.; closed Mon.
