Status: Targeting an opening within the next couple of weeks (pending inspections).
What to expect: Relaxed cafe-style bar centered on coffee, tea and traditional kava drinks with cowork-friendly seating and about 24 indoor seats.
Menu highlights: Espresso drinks, teas, kava beverages plus locally made snacks and light bites.
Hours: Planned daily 7 a.m.–midnight (Sunday around 8 a.m.; subject to change).
Who’s behind it: First brick-and-mortar cafe from Hailey and Travis Rank.
Huey Magoo’s — St. Petersburg

Status: Targeting a June 1 opening.
What to expect: Fast-casual chicken tender concept with expanded indoor seating plus patio space for roughly 100 guests total.
Menu highlights: Hand-breaded or grilled chicken tenders, sandwiches and salads built around tenderloin cuts.

Crispy Cones — Clearwater

Status: Targeting a March 27 opening (pending final construction details).
What to expect: Gourmet soft-serve concept known for rotisserie-grilled pastry cones with indoor and outdoor seating.
Menu highlights: Fresh grilled cones coated in cinnamon sugar or specialty coatings, filled with soft serve, spreads and toppings.

Tapas El Turco — Dunedin

Status: Targeting late April or early May opening.
What to expect: Full-service Mediterranean tapas restaurant with live entertainment and large outdoor seating.
Menu highlights: Turkish small plates, vegan olive-oil dishes and Mediterranean-inspired cocktails.
Hours: Wednesday–Sunday from 11:30 a.m.; late night hours on weekends.

Velvet Coupe — St. Petersburg

Status: Aiming for a mid-May opening.
What to expect: Intimate boutique sparkling wine lounge with a moody, luxury interior and full table or bar service.
Menu highlights: Champagne, cava, prosecco and Franciacorta selections plus a small plates menu launching after opening.
Hours: Planned opening at 5 p.m. daily; later hours on weekends.
Who’s behind it: Wine bar concept from real estate broker Dina Branham.
