Cotee River Creamery and Desserts — Land O’ Lakes
Address: 6745 Land O’ Lakes Blvd, Land O’ Lakes, FL 34638
Status: Targeting an opening soon!
What to expect: A compact dessert shop with limited indoor seating and additional outdoor seating. Guests will order at the counter using a digital menu.
Menu highlights: About 60 homemade ice cream flavors daily, plus cookies, brownies, cake pops, Buckeyes, Rice Krispie treats, and custom ice cream cakes. Coffee and baked goods will also be available.
Hours: Expected to mirror existing locations — noon to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and noon to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
Who’s behind it: Owners Michelle Sorensen and George Stacy continue expanding their growing dessert brand.
5PM Moments — New Port Richey
Address: 8528 Ridge Rd, New Port Richey, FL 34654
Status: Opening soon!
What to expect: A takeout-focused Asian fusion concept with limited dine-in seating for about 20 to 30 guests. A drive-thru pickup lane will support online orders.
Menu highlights: Bento-style meals with proteins like chicken, shrimp, and beef. Additional offerings include ramen, noodle dishes, wings, soups, and rotating seasonal selections.
Hours: Planned Tuesday through Sunday from 10:30 a.m.–9 p.m.; closed Mondays.
Who’s behind it: Owner Yunzhong Chen brings more than 15 years of restaurant experience and a focus on convenient, balanced meals.

Espresso Gallery and Cafe — New Port Richey
Address: 6130 Massachusetts Ave., New Port Richey, FL 34653
Status: Now open!
What to expect: A fast-casual coffee shop designed as a comfortable gathering space for reading, working, and socializing. Seating includes about 15 indoor seats and roughly 25 outdoor seats in a landscaped garden setting.
Menu highlights: Scratch-made pastries such as muffins, turnovers, biscuits, and cakes. Breakfast offerings include bagel sandwiches with cream cheese, lox, and proteins, along with oatmeal and biscuits and gravy.
Hours: Monday through Friday 6 a.m.–6 p.m.; Saturday 6 a.m.–5 p.m.; Sunday 7 a.m.–4 p.m.
Who’s behind it: Michael and Kimberly Ottaway aim to build a community-focused café experience.
Vino and Vibes — New Port Richey

What to expect: A relaxed wine bar with table service, live music programming, and seating for roughly 65 to 70 indoors plus outdoor space. Events will include jazz, piano, blues, and themed nights.
Menu highlights: Tapas-style fare such as charcuterie boards, flatbreads, sandwiches, salads, desserts, and rotating seafood dishes.
Hours: Tuesday through Thursday 3 p.m.–10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday 3 p.m.–11 p.m.; Sunday brunch 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
Who’s behind it: Carla Smith, Nancy Hegr, and Troy Hegr are collaborating on the downtown concept.
Twisted Garden — New Port Richey

What to expect: A healthy fast-casual café focused on grab-and-go service for hospital staff and visitors, with limited nearby seating and planned ordering kiosks throughout the building.
Menu highlights: Protein shakes, smoothies, green tea energy drinks, salads, grain bowls, and wraps including the Dragon Wrap and Twisted Chicken Salad.
Hours: Planned Monday through Friday from 6 a.m.–4 p.m.
Who’s behind it: Owner Dee Conigliaro is launching her first brick-and-mortar after building the brand through a regional food truck.
