GWINNETT COUNTY, GA – A new list of restaurants are preparing to make their debut in Duluth and Norcross. Business Debut interviewed each of the business owners to get the plans, so find out what's going on below.

1) Sinbad Yemeni Restaurant & Coffee — Duluth

The gist: Full-service Yemeni restaurant + coffee bar with ~80 seats, traditional rooms (some floor seating), and a VIP room.

Menu: Signature Yemeni breads; liver with lemon & lassa; shakshuka-style eggs; mendi; clay-pot beef “pasta” stew eaten with bread. Two staff trained in Yemen for two years.

Coffee: Adani chai, Yemeni beans roasted in-house, espresso drinks, juices, pastries.

The restaurant confirmed that they would be opening at: 3165 Buford Hwy NE, Duluth, GA 30096 on Monday, November 17th, and would host a grand opening on Friday, November 21st.

Hours: Daily, 7 a.m.–11 p.m. (slightly earlier close Sundays)

Owners: Abdull Mufadhal & Abdul Saeed; formerly Golden Grill food trucks (McDonough/Gwinnett) and a Michigan restaurant.

2) Bite More — Duluth (Second Location)

The gist: QSR with grass-fed halal meat, farm-fresh, never frozen ingredients, and housemade sauces. This will be their second location, the first currently operating in Buckhead on Roswell Road near the Buckhead Theater.

Address: 2148 Duluth Hwy, Unit 117, Duluth, GA 30097 (across from Sugarloaf Mall)

Menu: Oklahoma burger, Alfredo Cajun pasta, classic wings, Nashville hot chicken. New: from-scratch pizzas with fresh dough, house sauce, and freshly cut cheese. Nothing frozen; cooked to order.

Opening: Monday, Nov. 25

Owner & vision: Owner Prince Patel plans to scale across Georgia, then franchise. Halal focus to serve a broader community and emphasize cleaner, non-GMO food.

3) The Cigar Bar — Norcross

The gist: Two-sided, 6,000-sq.-ft. venue with separate entrances and patios—one cigar lounge, one smoke-free dining side. Family friendly on one side and cigar friendly on the other.

Smoking side: Walk-in humidor, fine spirits, sports, and live music. Menu hits: pork chops, salmon, wings, burgers.

Family Friendly Restaurant: Full dining room and wine bar with steaks, lobster, and tastings.

Opening: Targeting late December

Hours: Initially 4 p.m.–2 a.m. daily; expanding to 11 a.m.–2 a.m. early next year

4) Hayat Coffee House — Duluth

The gist: 3,600-sq.-ft. café centered on Arab coffee culture. Seating for ~100–120, plus study and family zones and a rentable conference room. Local, family-owned hub for late-night coffee and community events.

Menu: Adeni chai, Muwaffer, Kishar, Turkish coffee. House-made pastries: Kanafeh, saffron milk cake, rose milk cake, spiced chai milk cake. Simple sandwiches and croissants.

Opening: Early 2026 (targeting Feb–early Mar)

Hours: 7 a.m.–1 a.m. weekdays; 7 a.m.–2 a.m. weekends

The gist: Curated gift shop meets light café. A relaxed spot to browse, sip, and buy gifts for loved ones.
