Kitchen 251 — Fernandina Beach

Kitchen 251 is relocating from the Amelia Island Marina to a larger downtown space, with a target opening of January 6, 2026. The move adds significantly more indoor seating, a kitchen nearly five times larger, and the restaurant’s first full bar.

The restaurant plans to keep its casual, come-as-you-are feel, including a pet-friendly patio. The expanded kitchen should allow new menu additions like pasta dishes, more consistent steak offerings, and a larger dessert program, including Ashley’s in-house cheesecakes.

Loca Elotes — Port Orange

Loca Elotes is expanding with its first full-service restaurant at The Pavilion at Port Orange, targeting a mid-January opening. The location is designed for a sit-down experience, with around 20 indoor seats near the movie theater.

The menu grows beyond Mexican street snacks into a broader lineup of tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and loaded fries, with a big focus on birria items like birria tacos and birria loaded fries. Hours are planned for 11 a.m.–9 p.m. daily, with weekends running until 12 a.m.

Vintage Vault — Cocoa

Vintage Vault is planning soft openings in mid- to late December, followed by a grand opening right after the New Year. The family-run restaurant and lounge is moving into a former 1928 Barnett Bank building, and the historic setting is a major part of the concept.

The venue spans nearly 6,000 square feet over two floors with two bars. Seating is expected to start around 120 and could reach 150 pending city approval, with a menu built around modern twists on 1920s bar foods.

The Teahouse, owned by Noah Nace, is targeting an opening around Christmas or early in the New Year, pending final permitting. The shop blends a traditional afternoon tea experience with a faster counter-style option for casual visits.

Expect seating for about 20–30 guests and a Victorian-meets-modern-boho atmosphere. Most food is made in-house, with early highlights like strawberry chicken salad sandwiches, soups, and seasonal baked goods. Planned hours are Wednesday–Sunday, with noon–8 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m.–8 p.m. weekends.

Boston House Restaurant — Fort Pierce

Boston House Restaurant is preparing to open in the historic Boston House, and is anticipating opening very soon. Built in 1909 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1985, the three-story property will house a fine-dining concept that aims to feel formal but approachable.

The space is segmented into distinct experiences: a main-level dining room, an upstairs cocktail bar with speakeasy energy, an overflow lounge, and outdoor seating with a veranda and outdoor bar. The menu is Americana-forward, with items like grilled oysters and lobster rolls, and there’s also a planned members-only third-floor social club with perks and curated events.

Culture Shift Elixery — Stuart

Culture Shift Elixery opened this month, positioning itself as a social lounge focused on functional beverages—including hemp-infused drinks—plus mocktails and nonalcoholic options alongside beer, wine, and sake.

The 80-seat space is built for lingering, with couches and lounge seating, plus light bites and a small raw bar.

The team also plans to explore daytime service later, potentially adding coffee and matcha within a year. Hours are set for Wed–Thu 4–10 p.m., Fri 4 p.m.–12 a.m., Sat 1 p.m.–12 a.m., Sun 1–9 p.m.
