Alma Matcha — Fort Lauderdale

Address: 701 NW 5th Ave. #1011, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311

Status: Targeting late March with a grand opening around March 29 (pending permits).

What to expect: Matcha-focused café with about 25 indoor seats plus outdoor seating. Guests order at the bar and can watch drinks hand-whisked while learning about tea sourcing and preparation.

Menu highlights: Artisanal matcha lattes, hojicha drinks, loose-leaf teas and specialty coffee using a custom Colombia-Guatemala blend. Food includes matcha pastries and Japanese sandwiches.

Hours: Planned daily 7 a.m.–4 p.m.

Smoothie Garden — Miramar

Address: 7994 Riviera Blvd, Miramar, FL 33023

Status: Targeting an early May opening.

What to expect: Takeout-focused wellness concept with counter ordering and a planned mobile app. Catering services and loyalty rewards are also expected.

Menu highlights: Smoothies, fresh-pressed juices, salads, wraps, grazing boards and immune booster shots. A natural energy drink is planned as a signature item.

Hours: Expected to begin around 8 a.m. and run into the evening, roughly six days per week.

Status: Targeting late March or early April opening.

What to expect: Fast casual French café with counter ordering and table delivery. About 74 indoor seats plus patio seating.

Menu highlights: Breakfast and brunch plates such as pancakes and egg dishes, plus soups and sandwiches. Beer, wine and champagne will also be available.

Hours: Planned daily 7 a.m.–5 p.m.

NY Pizza Place — Pompano Beach

Address: 330 S Federal Hwy, Pompano Beach, FL 33069

Status: Targeting a late June or early July opening.

What to expect: Family-owned New York-style pizzeria with counter service, kiosks and patio seating. The location will be one of the brand’s first standalone buildings.

Menu highlights: Brooklyn-sourced dough pizzas with Grande cheese and Italian plum tomatoes. Other items include meatballs with a family marinara recipe, air-fried wings and panozos.

Hours: Planned Sunday–Thursday 11 a.m.–9 p.m., Friday–Saturday 11 a.m.–10 p.m.

Status: Targeting a late spring opening.

What to expect: Viral dessert concept featuring SMASHED donuts plus an in-store Yo Clawz arcade experience with multiple claw machines.

Menu highlights: Donuts filled with ice cream and toppings, breakfast sandwiches on donuts or croissants, milkshakes, coffee and fruit refreshers.

Hours: Planned Sunday–Wednesday 9 a.m.–9 p.m., with extended weekend hours until midnight.
