5 Coming Soon Broward County Restaurants [Feb. 9, 2026]

For the past few months, Business Debut has been interviewing restaurant owners across Florida, Georgia, and up into North Carolina. Here's a list of what's coming in Broward County.

We spoke with each business and confirmed details first hand.

Midori — Fort Lauderdale

Address: 640 NW 7th Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311 (inside The Arcadian)

Status: Targeting July opening, pending final city approvals.

What to expect: Compact Japanese casual spot with a ~50-seat room, an eight-seat private dining room, a 12-seat patio, and a sushi counter.

Menu highlights: Sushi, temaki, and rice/soba bowls with sauces like spicy miso, sesame-ginger, and soy-wasabi; bento boxes for takeout. Fish sourced via a dedicated broker in Japan.

Hours: Daily 12–3 p.m. and 6–9:30 p.m.

Who’s behind it: Álvaro Perez Miranda (Hiyakawa; Ogawa).

CVI.CHE 105 — Sunrise (Sawgrass Mills)

Address: 105 Sawgrass Mills Mall, 12801 W Sunrise Blvd, Sunrise, FL 33323

Status: Friends-and-family on Feb. 12; public opening Feb. 13.

What to expect: Full-service Peruvian dining with ~270 seats near The Cheesecake Factory.

Menu highlights: Fresh ceviche, Peruvian classics, Nikkei dishes, and pisco-forward cocktails.

Hours: Mon–Thu 11:30 a.m.–10:30 p.m.; Fri–Sat 10:30 a.m.–11:30 p.m.; Sun 12–10:30 p.m.

Who’s behind it: Founder Juan Chipoco; continued brand growth.

Monster Burger — Davie

Address: 2325 S. University Dr., Davie, FL 33324

Status: Targeting mid-March opening (tentatively March 15, 2026); date subject to change.

What to expect: Casual counter-order setup; staff run food to tables. Family-friendly “monster” theme; ~40 indoor seats expected (pending approvals).

Menu highlights: Three headliners: Monster Burger, Monster Hot Dog, Monster Fries. Signature burger with mozzarella, potato chips, and house sauces (pink, pineapple). Chicken and veggie options, too.

Hours: Daily 10 a.m.–10 p.m.

Who’s behind it: Family team—Claudia Montoya, Diana Montoya, Julio Arcilla, Carlos Mosquera; evolving a food-truck brand launched in 2011.

Pupusatime — Hollywood (Relocation)

Address: 114 N. State Road 7, Hollywood, FL 33021

Status: Aiming for the second half of February, pending final permits/inspections.

What to expect: Larger footprint with ~53 seats, flexible tables for groups, a family-style table, and on-site parking. Brief overlap with the original shop at 5958 Johnson St. #3.

Menu highlights: Salvadoran pupusas—especially the best-selling revuelta (cheese, refried beans, seasoned pork). More specials and shareables coming post-move.

Hours: Seven days a week, ~9 a.m.–9 p.m.; weekends may extend to midnight; breakfast hours likely later.

Next Bar & Lounge — Wilton Manors

Address: 2242 Wilton Drive, Wilton Manors, FL 33305

Status: Late February to early March opening, pending final inspections.

What to expect: 1,300-sq-ft upscale cocktail lounge with every seat oriented to live entertainment; intimate, performance-driven vibe.

Menu highlights: Concise tapas list (≤10 items) rotating monthly; showpiece cocktails with creative glassware and presentation.

Hours: Closed Tuesdays. Mon/Wed/Thu 4 p.m.–2 a.m.; Fri/Sat until 3 a.m.

Who’s behind it: Co-owners Jerry Volmer, Deiler Beltran, Javier Valdes (ex-Myth Gastro Bar).
