X7 Eatery — Deerfield Beach

Status: Coming Soon (targeting May; pending final permits).
What to expect: A 25-seat casual concept offering dishes from multiple Asian cuisines under one roof. Built for variety and group dining.
Menu highlights: Sushi, Korean fried chicken, Japanese sandwiches, wagyu, dry-aged items, and handmade dumplings.
Hours: Planned daily 11 a.m.–late.
Who’s behind it: Chef Jiaren “Carlos” Zheng and partners.
Poke I Love You — Plantation

Status: Coming Soon (targeting opening in approximately five months from last update).
What to expect: A larger second location with expanded seating for gatherings. Fast-casual format with dine-in and takeout.
Menu highlights: Customizable poke bowls, bubble tea, ramen, and Korean corn dogs.
Hours: Planned daily 10:30 a.m.–9 p.m.

Midori — Fort Lauderdale
Address: 640 NW 7th Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311
Status: Coming Soon (targeting July; pending approvals).
What to expect: A 50-seat Japanese restaurant with sushi counter, private dining, and patio seating. Focused on quality-driven dining.
Menu highlights: Sushi, temaki, rice and soba bowls, and bento boxes with seafood sourced from Japan.
Hours: Planned daily 12–3 p.m. and 6–9:30 p.m.

Chef Reece Kitchen — Davie

What to expect: Expanded Jamaican fusion restaurant with about 70 seats. Counter-service with dine-in and catering growth.
Menu highlights: Oxtail, jerk chicken, honey garlic salmon, plus pasta variations and lunch specials.
Hours: Monday–Saturday 10 a.m.–9 p.m.; closed Sunday.
