Between Buford, Suwanee, and Lilburn, we have a K-Noodle snack bar and claw machine arcade, a fried chicken sandwich and boba shop, a coffee and co-working concept, and a Venezuelan fast food spot opening in a convenience store.

Chicks N Boba

What & Where: Chicks N Boba, a new fast-casual fried chicken and bubble tea spot, is planned for downtown Buford at: 1 W Main St Suite 3, Buford, GA 30518.

Overall Concept: The counter-service restaurant will seat about 28 guests and feature a bright, playful interior with pink booths, floral accents, and hanging swings for guests grabbing quick meals, snacks, or drinks.

Menu: Expect crispy fried chicken sandwiches on brioche buns with fresh coleslaw, crinkle-cut pickles, and sauces like a house savory blend, jalapeño ranch, and hot honey, paired with a range of customizable bubble teas.

Opening Timeline: Owner Hien Le told Business Debut the team is waiting on electricity and final city approvals and hopes to open in about three to four months.

Expected Hours: Once running, Chicks N Boba plans to open seven days a week with hours roughly 11 a.m.–9 p.m. on weekdays, slightly later on Fridays and Saturdays, and similar daytime hours on Sundays.

Brewed Up Coffee and Coworking

What & Where: Brewed Up Coffee and Coworking, a hybrid coffee shop, coworking space, and community hub, is preparing to open soon in Lilburn at: 4805 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lilburn, GA 30047.

Overall Concept: Expect a front café with seating for around 28 guests, a small lounge, a community room, several conference rooms, and a larger coworking section with space for dozens of remote workers and small business owners. The concept will also feature a podcast room, photography studio, and content room with backdrop walls, plus virtual address and mailbox services for local entrepreneurs.

Opening Timeline: Owner Simone Edwards told Business Debut she is targeting a soft opening on December 12th and a public opening on December 19th, with planned hours Monday–Friday 8 a.m.–8 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m.–5 p.m., closed on Sundays.

What & Where: What appears to be a combination of Korean Ramyun noodle shop and a plushy claw machine arcade seems to be opening soon in Suwannee at: 2850 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Rd, Suwanee, GA 30024.

Overall Concept: Judging from the brand’s social media, expect a place to enjoy K-Noodles, snacks, and numerous plushy claw machine games. 

Opening Timeline: An opening date isn’t available on the brand’s social media, but they seem to be getting close, as the interior is well decorated, a sign is up outside, and they’re teasing an opening very soon in recent posts. 

Business Debut attempted to reach the owners to ask a few questions but were unsuccessful.

Too Much Arepa

What & Where: Too Much Arepa, a Venezuelan fast-food concept centered on arepas, is coming to Suwanee next year at: 215 Old Peachtree Rd NW, Suwanee, GA 30024, inside the Circle K convenience store.

Menu: Expect a menu built around arepas and other Venezuelan fare in a compact, convenience-store setting geared toward quick, everyday meals.

Opening Timeline: Owner Nestor Medina told Business Debut he expects to open in February or March of 2026, with the concept operating seven days a week once launched. Social media pages and a website are still in the works.
