Here’s what’s cooking in the greater Orlando-area. Two spots are open now—a fusion-driven Indian restaurant and a family-run Oaxacan newcomer—while a soufflé-pancake brand is opening soon near UCF. Looking ahead, a pirate-themed seafood boil lands in Apopka in 2026.

Seasons of India — Orlando

Opening: Now open at: 7085 S Orange Blossom Trl, Orlando, FL 32809

What to expect: Full dine-in restaurant with about 45–50 seats, blending authentic Indian dishes with Chinese and Mexican fusion developed from ghost-kitchen testing.

Menu & Drinks: Samosa chaat, basket chaat, lamb chops, South Indian–style chicken, multiple biryanis; hakka noodles, chili paneer/chicken, fried rice; burritos and tacos filled with Indian ingredients.

Hours: Daily 11 a.m.–11 p.m. (weekend closing may extend later).

What to expect: Casual, family-run spot with about 30 seats. Oaxacan-influenced staples in an approachable format.

Menu & Drinks: Tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and tlayudas made with quesillo imported from Oaxaca.

Hours: Mon–Thu 9 a.m.–9 p.m.; Fri–Sat 9 a.m.–10 p.m.; Sun 9 a.m.–7 p.m.

Fluffy Fluffy — Orlando

Opening: Early February at: 4250 W Plaza Dr, Suite H, Orlando, FL 32816 (UCF campus)

What to expect: First U.S. campus location for the Japanese soufflé pancake brand. Fast-casual counter service with 10–12 indoor seats and similar outdoor seating, plus a grab-and-go model and delivery.

Menu & Drinks: Signature soufflé pancakes (tiramisu, strawberry, matcha) and savory breakfast builds using pancakes as the “bun.” Croffle sandwiches with ham, turkey, bacon, or sausage; tater tots and coffee drinks. Eggs Benedict pancakes planned after launch.

Hours: Expected 9 a.m.–10 p.m., with potential later hours based on demand.

What to expect: Pirate-themed, fast-casual seafood with strong takeout focus. About 40 outdoor seats in a 1,200-sq-ft area; nautical décor and dish names.
