Here’s what’s new in St. Johns County: Egg Bred is now serving in Fruit Cove, and Holcomb’s Seafood & Meats opened in Hastings on November 22.
On deck: Le Petit Paris arrives in Ponte Vedra Beach in January 2026, and The Outpost at Old Moultrie targets a debut about a year out in St. Augustine.

Egg Bred (Fruit Cove)
Opening: Now open at 112 Bartram Oaks Walk, Fruit Cove, FL 32259
What to expect: Craft breakfast sandwiches, burgers, loaded fries, and hash browns from a fast-growing breakfast brand.
Menu & Drinks: Signature egg-and-cheese stacks, smashed burgers, crispy hash browns, and other all-day comfort items.

Holcomb’s Seafood & Meats (Hastings)
Opening: Opened November 22 at 415 N. Main St., Hastings, FL 32145
What to expect: Family-run seafood and meats market with ~24 feet of display cases plus upright fridges/freezers. Groceries, sauces, grab-and-go, and house-made stocks and chowders.
This a brick and mortar outpost for the family's seafood distribution company that's operated since 2007.
Menu & Drinks: Fresh/frozen shrimp, fish, oysters, clams, mussels, snow crab; expanding beef, pork, and poultry selection.
Hours: Mon–Fri 10 a.m.–6 p.m.; Sat 9 a.m.–5 p.m.; closed Sun.

Le Petit Paris (Ponte Vedra Beach)
Opening: January 2026 at 830 A1A N, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082
What to expect: Authentic French café experience; pastries imported from France and baked throughout the day. Décor will continue the brand’s “region of France” design approach.
Menu & Drinks: Croissants, quiches (family recipe), soups, sandwiches, salads, charcuterie; locally roasted Bold Bean coffee and artisan chocolates.
Hours: Planned Mon–Fri 7 a.m.–4 p.m.; Sat–Sun 8 a.m.–5 p.m.

The Outpost at Old Moultrie (St. Augustine)
Opening: Targeting November 2026 at: 2505 Old Moultrie Rd., St. Augustine, FL 32086
What to expect: Mixed-use community hub built from 10 repurposed shipping containers, with a commercial playground, a large covered seating structure, and a stage for movies and events.
Menu & Drinks: Two dedicated food-and-beverage containers (one 40-ft restaurant space or two vendors; one 20-ft coffee/lemonade stand) plus rotating food trucks.
Hours: Tentative: Weekdays 7 a.m.–8:30 p.m.; Weekends 7 a.m.–10 p.m.
