3 New (& Coming Soon) Restaurants in Pasco County

Pasco County’s restaurant scene continues to grow, with new options taking shape in New Port Richey and Wesley Chapel and a chef-driven Italian restaurant now serving guests in Zephyrhills.

Here are three restaurants to know about, including pizza, wings and handmade Italian dishes.

Landy’s Place — New Port Richey

Address: 8836 US 19, Unit 2D, New Port Richey, FL 34668

Status: Targeting an August 31 opening, pending completion of the build-out and required inspections.

What to expect: Landy’s Place will operate as an independent family restaurant inside the Richie Racket complex. Owners Orlando and Lai-Lee Cordero are creating a small dine-in area with four booth tables while continuing to paint and finish the space ahead of opening.

The Corderos want the restaurant to serve as an affordable neighborhood option rather than simply a food counter inside the larger complex. Dine-in and carryout are planned, along with DoorDash for delivery and pickup orders.

Menu highlights: Fresh pizza and subs will anchor the menu, joined by salads, pretzels and what the owners describe as “craft ice cream.” Pizza options are expected to include both traditional round pies and square Detroit-style pizzas.

Who’s behind it: Orlando and Lai-Lee Cordero, who are developing Landy’s Place as a family-run neighborhood restaurant.

Wingsnob — Wesley Chapel

Address: 30203 Wesley Chapel Blvd., Wesley Chapel, FL 33545

Status: Expected to open before the end of 2026.

What to expect: Wingsnob is continuing its Florida expansion with a new Wesley Chapel restaurant led by franchisee AJ Joshi. The location will bring the growing wing brand to Wesley Chapel Boulevard while adding to Joshi’s presence in the Tampa Bay area.

Joshi also recently opened a Wingsnob restaurant in Riverview at 10444 Stelling Drive.

Menu highlights: Wingsnob specializes in both bone-in and boneless wings. The menu also includes loaded fries, chicken tenders, sandwiches, mini sandwiches and larger fan packs designed for groups.

Who’s behind it: Franchisee AJ Joshi, who is also behind the recently opened Wingsnob location in Riverview.

Trattoria Napoli — Zephyrhills

Address: Business Debut originally reported 5470 7th St., Zephyrhills, FL 33542.

Status: Now open.

What to expect: Trattoria Napoli is a full-service Italian restaurant built around a casual neighborhood atmosphere. Chef-owner Matthew Zappoli planned the concept for roughly 120 seats, including a main dining room, a semiprivate “pizza room,” a bar and outdoor seating.

The restaurant combines Zappoli’s Italian American family background with roughly three decades of restaurant experience. Interior plans called for hardwood tables, olive and basil green accents, warm lighting and black ceilings.

Menu highlights: Handmade pasta, pizza, seafood and steaks form the core of the menu. Among the dishes discussed during development were Millie’s Meatballs, based on Zappoli’s grandmother’s recipe; braised short rib agnolotti with parsnip puree and Bordelaise; and a 32-ounce Bistecca Fiorentina for two.

Pasta is made in house using Italian equipment, while pizzas are prepared using a Wood Stone oven. The restaurant’s current website continues to highlight handmade pasta and artisanal pizza among its signature offerings.

Hours: Current published hours differ from the restaurant’s original pre-opening plans. Its website lists operating information for the Zephyrhills location, so guests should check the restaurant directly for the latest schedule.

Who’s behind it: Chef-owner Matthew Zappoli, with support from his wife, Idania Reyes. Zappoli is a Culinary Institute of America graduate whose career has included restaurant work in New York, Las Vegas, California and Florida, as well as a decade with Hard Rock.
