3 Collier County Restaurants Planning to Open Soon

We've reported on several restaurants that are planning to debut in Collier County, but here are three local businesses that have plans to open soon.

Business Debut carefully interviews each business owner we report on to bring you the information below. You will see when we last spoke with them. Be mindful that opening dates can get delayed occasionally.

Tiny Kitchen — Naples

Address: 524 Park St, Naples, FL 34102

Opening estimate / status: As of our interview with owner Alejandro Veiga on May 6th of this year, Tiny Kitchen was targeting late May or the first week of June, depending on permitting.

What to expect: A 680-square-foot Argentinian street food spot near Fifth Avenue South with counter ordering, about 21 indoor seats, and additional outdoor seating. The space will include street art, Argentinian and American influences, and a turntable where guests can play records.

Menu highlights: Empanadas, choripan, and salads, with rotating items based on ingredient availability. Planned empanadas include traditional beef, spinach and Swiss chard with house-made ricotta and Parmesan, mushroom, sweet corn with yellow squash and mozzarella, artichoke with cherry tomatoes, and chicken chipotle.

Hours: Planned daily 11 a.m.–8 p.m., or until sold out.

Who’s behind it: Owner Alejandro Veiga is opening Tiny Kitchen with his wife, Samantha Skarl, and his mother, Chef Marta Veiga. The concept is part of the family’s Casa del Loro umbrella, which has Argentinian street food operations in San Francisco and Playa del Carmen, Mexico.

Casa Cotzelli — Naples

Address: 12712 Tamiami Trail E, Naples, FL 34113

Opening estimate / status: As of our interview with owner Filippo Butelli on April 1st of this year, Casa Cotzelli was targeting an opening in about a month, pending final permits.

What to expect: A full-service Italian restaurant with a casual, family-oriented feel and service influenced by fine dining experience. The new location is expected to seat roughly 120 to 125 guests across indoor and outdoor dining, with an open kitchen planned.

Menu highlights: Made-from-scratch Italian dishes, including homemade pasta, sauces, seafood, and a mix of traditional and modern regional Italian items. Expected signatures include family-recipe eggplant parmesan, paccheri with pistachio pesto, tortelloni in Bolognese sauce, branzino, tuna tartare, and Fiorentina steak.

Hours: Planned for lunch and dinner daily, likely opening around 11 or 11:30 a.m. Closing is expected around 9 p.m. on weekdays and 10 p.m. on weekends, with final hours still to be announced.

Who’s behind it: Owner Filippo Butelli is opening the restaurant with Gabriele Cozza, with the Casa Cotzelli name combining their last names. The concept marks the second location following their North Naples debut three years ago.

The Litty Kitty — Naples

Address: 5023 Tamiami Trl E, Naples, FL 34113

Opening estimate / status: As of our interview with owner Jamy Donnelly on March 10th of this year, The Litty Kitty was targeting a May opening as construction continued.

What to expect: A neighborhood bar described by the team as an “upscale dive,” with neon lighting, cat-themed décor, retro arcade games, darts, gambling machines, and a small outdoor courtyard with a stage for live music. The bar is designed to feel small and intimate, with about 15 seats at the bar and roughly 50 total seats when full.

Menu highlights: Straightforward bar food, including wings, hot dogs, smash burgers with house “kitty sauce,” and pizza. Wing options are expected to include Cajun, barbecue, lemon pepper, buffalo, and teriyaki, while hot dogs will include builds such as Skyline chili-style and Chicago-style.

Hours: Planned daily 11 a.m.–2 a.m.

Who’s behind it: Jamy Donnelly is opening The Litty Kitty with partners Sandra Kissel and Marc During. The team wants the bar to serve hospitality workers, first responders, and others looking for a casual place to unwind after work.
