17-Tap Brewery Concept Expanding to Fort Myers
Point Ybel Brewing Co is targeting a downtown Fort Myers opening within a month.
FORT MYERS, FL - Point Ybel Brewing Co is preparing to open its second location at 2180 W First St, Fort Myers, FL 33901, with owner Jordan Weisberg targeting an opening within the next month, pending final city approvals. Weisberg told Business Debut the downtown expansion comes after years of requests from customers who live in and around the city’s urban core.
Business Debut learned of this story first from Gulf Shore Business.
What to Expect
The new location will feature 17 taps, including two nitro taps and two Czech side-pull taps designed specifically for properly poured lagers. All beer and hard seltzer offerings will be brewed in house.
“We will bring our awesome variety that we currently have down there as well,” Weisberg told Business Debut, noting the lineup will include German lagers, IPAs, sour ales, barrel-aged stouts, and Captiva Hard Tea.
The space will have an indoor capacity of 136, with additional outdoor seating and a stage for live entertainment. Guests can expect weekly trivia, yoga, music bingo, jazz nights, and performances from larger bands. The brewery will also feature shuffleboard, Golden Tee, and multiple TVs for sporting events.

Menu and Vision
Point Ybel Brewing Co. will focus exclusively on brewing beer and hard seltzers, with no kitchen onsite. Instead, food will come from outside restaurants and food trucks.
A dedicated food truck parking space will sit directly outside one of the brewery’s front windows, allowing guests to view menus from inside. Nearby restaurants will also offer delivery directly to patrons inside the taproom.
“Supporting local businesses is the heartbeat of our area here and we want to make sure that we're taking care of everybody,” Weisberg told Business Debut. “It’s a great symbiotic relationship.”
The downtown space is nearly double the size of the original brewery at 16120 San Carlos Blvd, which has operated for 12 years.
“We're just excited to be a part of the downtown Fort Myers area,” Weisberg told Business Debut. “We've always loved the history and energy down there and we look forward to being a part of that and giving the locals something extra to do.”
Opening Timeline
Weisberg said the team is targeting an opening within a month, depending on final approvals, with hopes of opening before April.
Hours
The brewery plans to open seven days a week from 11 a.m. - 11 p.m.
