Nori Nite
ALACHUA, FL - Nori Nite is targeting a May opening at 14960 Main St, Alachua, FL 32615, bringing a sushi and Laotian fusion concept to the area. Owner Oulay Inthalangsy confirmed the plans during a recent interview with Business Debut. Nori Nite will offer a fusion of Japanese sushi and Laotian cuisine. Inthalangsy, who has more than 10 years of experience making sushi, said he wanted to return to the restaurant industry after seven years working as a firefighter.

Patrizia’s Waterfront
HALLANDALE BEACH, FL - Patrizia’s Waterfront is preparing to open at 1975 South Ocean Drive, Hallandale Beach, FL 33009, marking the brand’s 18th location and its continued expansion from its New York roots. Owner Emerson Insfran told Business Debut the restaurant will bring the group’s Italian-American offerings to the Hemispheres Condominium community and surrounding area.

Palms of India
HERNANDO, FL - Palms of India is set to open April 16, 2026 at 2448 N Heritage Oaks Path, Hernando, FL 34442, introducing authentic Indian cuisine to Citrus County. Owner Jeffrey Singh told Business Debut the restaurant will fill a gap in the local dining scene as the area currently has no other Indian food options.

Ralphie’s Fish Camp
PORT ST. JOE, FL - Ralphie’s Fish Camp is targeting an August 2026 opening at 470 Marina Drive, Port St. Joe, FL 32456, bringing a new family-friendly seafood restaurant directly to the city marina. Owner Grant Rish, a sixth-generation Port St. Joe native, told Business Debut the concept is designed to feel approachable for guests arriving by boat or from the beach.

Don Jose’s Mexican Grill
SEFFNER, FL - Don Jose’s Mexican Grill is preparing to open at 2006 South Parsons Ave., Seffner, FL 33584, bringing a full-service Mexican grill with breakfast, lunch, and dinner to the area, Jose Monasterio told Business Debut. The team is remodeling the former barbecue restaurant and is targeting a soft opening the week of March 9.

Coozy Pizza
FORT MYERS, FL – Coozy Pizza is targeting a March opening at 3940 Metro Parkway, Unit 123, Fort Myers, FL 33916, following more than a year of renovations and permitting delays, owner Alex Vagner told Business Debut. Vagner secured the space in September 2024 and began converting the former retail jewelry store into a fast-casual pizzeria.
Point Ybel Brewing Co.
FORT MYERS, FL - Point Ybel Brewing Co is preparing to open its second location at 2180 W First St, Fort Myers, FL 33901, with owner Jordan Weisberg targeting an opening within the next month, pending final city approvals. Business Debut learned of this story first from Gulf Shore Publishing.

Merci Cafe
BRADENTON, FL - Merci Cafe, a French bakery and brunch concept, is targeting a mid-March opening at 310-212 12th St W, Bradenton, FL 34205. Owners Fanette and Patrick Maquet told Business Debut they are bringing a French franchise concept to the area, marking their first restaurant.
Miami-Dade County
Cuban Cafe
MIAMI, FL - Cuban Cafe is expanding with a fourth location at 11900 Biscayne Blvd Ste 103, Miami, FL 33181, with a tentative opening date of March 27th. Owner Saul Dominguez told Business Debut the new cafe will bring the same coffee-focused concept that has fueled the brand’s steady growth across South Florida.
Pinellas County
Crispy Cones
CLEARWATER, FL- Crispy Cones, the gourmet soft-serve franchise that gained national attention on Shark Tank, is preparing to open at 2539 Countryside Blvd, Suite 7A, Clearwater, FL 33761 in the Countryside Center. Co-owners Todd and Tricia Basler told Business Debut they are targeting a March 27 opening, pending final construction details.
Huey Magoo's
ST. PETERSBURG, FL - Huey Magoo’s is targeting a June 1 opening for its newest location at 4331 34th St. S, St. Petersburg, FL 33711, owner Collie Lightsey told Business Debut. The restaurant will mark the brand’s second location in Pinellas County under Lightsey’s ownership. Lightsey and his wife, Dametris Lightsey, opened their first Huey Magoo’s in March 2021 in Pinellas Park and have since introduced the brand to the local market.
Tapas El Turco
DUNEDIN, FL - Tapas El Turco is targeting a late April or early May opening at 463 Grant St., Dunedin, FL 34698, where owner Daryal Kafkasso Erdem plans to introduce a full-service Mediterranean restaurant centered on healthy cooking and live entertainment. Fully Loaded Sports Bar and Grill
WINTER HAVEN, FL — Fully Loaded Sports Bar and Grill is preparing to open its first brick-and-mortar location at 380 Avenue C SW, Winter Haven, FL 33880. The restaurant is owned by Juan Angarita and his wife, Samantha Dicicco, along with Juan’s brother, Nicholas “Nick” Angarita, and his wife, Cristen Angarita.
Seminole County
Quesitos
LONGWOOD, FL- Quesitos is targeting a March 20 opening inside the Shell gas station at 100 Dog Track Rd, Longwood, FL 32750, owner Robert Silva told Business Debut. The location will mark the first Quesitos restaurant in Florida, bringing the Venezuelan fast food franchise from Georgia to Central Florida.
Wakulla County
Mr. Beav Italian Ice
NEW PORT RICHEY, FL - Mr. Beav Italian Ice is targeting an opening within the next two to three weeks at 4038 Madison St, New Port Richey, FL 34652, owner Dave Bennerman told Business Debut. The concept was created in honor of Bennerman’s late mother, who passed away in December 2023.
