123 Burger Taking Over Zaxby's Building in Raleigh
A new concept serving fresh burgers and chicken will open on Fayetteville Road in the former Zaxby's location.
RALEIGH, NC — 123 Burger is planning an early 2026 debut at the former Zaxby’s at 4150 Fayetteville Rd, Raleigh, NC 27603 as first noted by Triangle Food Blog. Owner Ahmed Alhadrami told Business Debut the space is roughly 3,000 square feet and preparations on the space are underway.
What to Expect
The name reflects the simplified menu: burgers, fried chicken, and ice cream. “The name just says it all—1 is for burgers, 2 is for chicken, and 3 is for ice cream,” Alhadrami told Business Debut.
The team is emphasizing freshness. “We’re not planning to even have a freezer in the building,” he told Business Debut, noting fresh beef and chicken and hand-cut fries.
Expect a classic, streamlined lineup built around the three core categories.
Opening Timeline
The restaurant is targeting early 2026. Alhadrami said the team aims for the beginning of the year, pending permitting and buildout. If this location performs well, Alhadrami plans to continue expanding.
